The Opportunity

You will get to be a part of what comes next as a Customer Success Manager. This key connector role will collaborate between the Customer, Sales, and Product teams, reporting to the US Director with a customer centric focus. If you like project management, data integration work, are customer centric focus, and are a leader, this job is for you. This role will help farmers and their advisors with getting the most out of the features keeping their workflow and goals in mind while also bringing back feedback on how/where to improve the product, or opportunities that can be interesting. 


You will support and at times lead software integration, customer onboarding and training, customer communications and provide ongoing product training and support for customers. You will be our #1 customer fan and their trusted advisor to the Platform! You will help the customer use the product to its maximum and help evolve the product based on user feedback. You work with the customer, creatively work around solutions, and fit to their context and work but also become the voice of the customer internally.  You understand how data is used on US dairy farms and by their advisors, and how it can help set goals, collaborate, and create efficiency and value-added insights. 


What will you do

  • You will be responsible for identifying farmer and advisor challenges and opportunities and finding out how our Platform can solve these issues. Successful outcomes will deliver against company targets and growth ambitions. 
  • You will support and at times lead data integration of dairy software programs in the areas of Dairy Herd Management Software (DHMS), feed software, milk processor data and more.
  • You support commercial execution of pilots and POCs with farmers and advisors and drive towards roll out. You will work closely with sales & product teams to deliver against objectives and goals. 
  • As the Customer Success Manager, you will be managing the project objectives and goals, timelines, scheduling, farmer, and advisor Asks toward completion  
  • You are the connector, the go to, the leader between the farmer, advisor, sales, and product teams with accountability within the scope/timeline of the project or Proof of Concept being determined 
  • Central communications person, written and verbal communications and collaboration between the mentioned parties 
  • Organization-attention to detail, follow-up ensuring the customer communications stay on task and customer needs are elevated 
  • Above all, the ideal candidate will believe in the mission, people, products, and services of Connecterra and can supercharge its revenue and growth trajectory. 

Job requirements

Who are you

  • Worked as a dairy farm advisor preferable in nutrition, however consideration also given to reproduction, milk processing, veterinarians, data integration and support and other farm advisors in the capacity of customer service, sales, success, or other customer-facing solutions 
  • You are customer-centric, understanding customer needs and translating this effectively into technical solutions 
  • Have successfully led projects and worked across teams to deploy technology solutions 
  • You are a technologist but have a keen knowledge of the agriculture value chain, or you have demonstrated that you can learn an industry quickly  
  • You make sure customers have the best possible experience with the Connecterra Platform. 
  • You are passionate about customer relationships, and know the importance of resolving issues quickly 
  • You have a reasonable degree of understanding of DHMS (Dairy Herd Management Software) such as Dairy Comp 305, BoviSync and others. 
  • You are comfortable talking about data on a farm and its benefits and serving as an advisor to the Platform
  • In depth understanding of US dairy farms and management practices 


Minimum qualifications 

  • You’ve had 5+ years of professional experience in a role as a dairy farm advisor 
  • You’ve got a bachelor's degree in agriculture, product, sales, or business.  
  • A dairy or agricultural industry background is required 
  • You’ve successfully managed farmer-customer relationships, project management and have been a part of the buyer or sales journey in some way 
  • You’re fluent in written and spoken English and have conducive business skills for effective oral and written internal and external communications
